 Ralph J. Lagriola, RFC, CSA, LUTCF
 

Ralph J. Lagriola is President of Independent Brokerage Service.  He entered the financial service industry in 1970 and is licensed for Life, Health, Property & Casualty. 

He is a Registered Financial Consultant, Certified Senior Advisor, Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow, Financial Expense Planning Specialist, Business Coach and a Continuing Education Insurance Instructor. 

Ralph is also a member of the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants, Certified Senior Advisors, Financial Expense Planning Association and serves on the Board as Finance Officer and Financial Consultant for the Hasbrouck Heights American LegionJames B. Scarr Post 106

He is a Past New Jersey State President (1995-1996)  of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and a former FINRA Registered Rep. (7,24 63)

In 2010, Ralph was again asked to serve as President for the Greater Essex Chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, he also served as President in 1987. 

Other Association positions held were; National Committeeman, Membership Directory Chairman, Life Underwriter Training Council Chairperson and Moderator. He served on the Board of Directors from 1975 through 2014. 

Ralph was recognized by both the New Jersey State Life Underwriters Association in 1993 and the Greater Essex Chapter as Life Underwriter of the Year in 1993 and again in 2001.  In addition, in 1996 he received association awards for Outstanding Dedication of Service from both the Local and State NAIFA Organizations.

He was presented with the "Edmund L. Zalinsky Distinguished Service Award" in 1994 for Exceptional Contributions of Time and Effort to the Life Underwriters Training Council. He donated his time and expertise to educate insurance and financial professionals of the Newark Greater Essex Chapter of NAIFA as a LUTC Moderater and Chairman.

A lover of old cars, he owns a 1931 Model A Ford Roadster and participates in local car shows and parades.  

He resides in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey with his wife Lois.  They have two married children and five grandchildren.
